Art & Philosophy during the war

    Philosophy and art are a reflection of reality. Many philosophers, artists and philosophers reflect the topic of Russo-Ukrainian war. Ukrainians are renouncing the enemy's culture and traditions right now. There is no place in Ukraine for Tchaikovsky anymore. Representatives of Ukrainian cultural communities continue to engage in professional activities even in conditions of a full-scale war. Through culture, Ukrainians convey their own positions and cultural traditions, involve the civilized world in the problem of war. Ukrainian artists strive to preserve their own achievements - philosophical, artistic and cultural works. 

    Thanks to the popularization of Ukrainian culture, the international community realizes why and for what Ukrainians are fighting. For example, in 2022 on relevant ones appeared on the walls of the Museum of Modern Art in New York poems of the Ukrainian writer Serhii Zhadan, so while exploring art at the museum visitors also pay attention to the Russo-Ukrainian war.

    Ukrainian artists, authors and philosophers are fighting to express their independent opinion. They want to create and work in Ukraine. Most of them use social media and different platforms for as much as possible involving people in the discourse. For example, the Ukrainian philosopher Andrii Baumeister analyzes and actively participates in his own YouTube channel discussions about the Russo-Ukrainian war. In one of his new ones video, he analyzes some statements of Canadian author Jordan Peterson regarding the Russian invasion. 

   Consumption of Ukrainian goods is also an integral part of development culture in conditions of war. Many peopple around the world are interested in Ukraine's rich heritage. 

   A great contribution to the coverage of Ukrainian history made by Timothy Snyder, an American historian and intellectual, by the way he is an advanced Ukrainian speaker. 

   In turn, Ukrainian artists represent Ukraine, demonstrating Ukrainian national values. Development of culture undoubtedly has a positive effect on the image of Ukraine in the world.
